If you're looking for a relaxing day in the sun with a picnic and some of the Coromandel Peninsula's favourite wine & cuisine, this is the event for you.
The event is fully licensed, and you'll be able to pick up fantastic local wines at cellar door prices. Everyone can bring their own food & non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy, and we will also be engaging local vendors to sell some of the truly amazing produce found on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Westpac Rescue
The Westpac Rescue Helicopters operate a 24/7/365 rescue helicopter service throughout New Zealand. If you suffer a medical emergency or are involved in a serious accident the time saved by flying could save your life. Rescue helicopter missions to the Coromandel and Thames region have increased by 85 per cent in the last four years and there are now almost 300 rescue missions per year to the area.
The Coromandel Rescue Helicopter Trust provides satellite support for the Auckland based Westpac Rescue Helicopters, and helped establish a permanent helicopter base in Whitianga to house the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and its crew. Having this crew located in the Coromandel region saves valuable time and increases the likelihood of your survival in a life threatening emergency. Funds raised from Concert in the Vines will go directly towards mission activity in the Coromandel area.
